Welcome to my personal website!
I am an assistant producer at National Public Radio (NPR), where I cover and produce national news for Morning Edition, Up First, and NPR.org. Over the past few years, I have written, reported, and produced stories across sports, politics, business, education, music, and art. Before coming to NPR, I worked as an intern at Georgia Public Broadcasting and at Atlanta Civic Circle, where I wrote and reported in the Metro Atlanta Area.
While I was interning, I graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism in 2021. During my time at Georgia State, I’ve had stints with two of the school’s newspapers. Before their consolidation with Georgia State, I worked at The Collegian at Georgia Perimeter College as a sports reporter, sports editor, and managing editor from 2014 to 2016. During my tenure, I covered athletics at GPC, the consolidation of the two schools, and local news that affected the student body in Clarkston, Georgia. After The Collegian closed, I worked with Georgia State’s newspaper, The Signal, from 2020 to 2021 as a digital video journalist. I reported, produced, and edited my own reports for the paper’s web series Signal in a Minute.
I also did some independent reporting from 2019 to 2021, writing digital articles and video stories affecting people in Georgia State’s student body and the city of Atlanta.
